Art Club

Art Club is committed to tap the effective sketching & painting talent among the students; club is poised to enable the talents with cutting edges.

Club’s Aim

The aim of this club is to foster love for drawing, sketching & painting and provide an avenue for self-expression beyond the school curriculum.

Club’s Objective

To develop and hone the imaginary & creative skills of the students, club inspires the students to develop a taste of drawing & painting and also works in direction of educating towards traditional paintings. The club aims at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of students in facing various creative activities and competitions.

Club’s Activity

The club initiates the following activities:

  1. Basics of drawing
  2. Pencil strokes
  3. Parts of human body
  4. Sand painting
  5. Oil painting
  6. Fabric painting
  7. Marble painting
  8. Glass painting
  9. Oil painting
  10. Exhibiting art gallery

Club Goals:

  • Provide all interested students, even those not enrolled in art courses, a creative outlet in a safe environment. (As well as access to instruction, materials, and facilities).
  • Participate in school/community events with artistic contributions. For example: painting backdrops for band and theater events. These will provide both artistic and community building experience.
  • Establish connections to local community art resources (local galleries, artists, etc…)
  • Provide students who ARE enrolled in art courses an established day and time to seek extra help/time on current projects. This would also allow for peer as well as instructor support.
  • Arrange club trips to institutions of learning (museums, galleries, figure drawing classes) that will serve to enrich the student experience and expand their scope of community resources
  • Establish art club officers to help manage the organization, plan activities, and organize group projects.
  • Collaborate with other clubs, such as: theater and band productions.
  • Organize at least one enrichment outing to a museum, art gallery, or figure drawing session.
